Just Because

My heart is racing today! I do not know what causes my heart to pound this way, abnormally fast, and my intuition tells me that there is something that is going to happen in the next few days. I however do not know if it is the anticipation of some greater things to come, perhaps challenges that I must face or some triumph that we must reap for a job well done, whatever may be the case, I know it will be an important event in my life.

I have always had these feelings of uncertainty that have always caused me to be irritable and uneasy. I sometimes just drown these brewing emotions within me by working continuously or watching cheesy cartoons or movies that does not even make sense to me, but just as long as it does the job of helping me forget, I will. It gets difficult sometimes to contain these emotions as most of the time, I feel that I am going to either burst or explode into tiny pieces, something that I would not want to happen as it more difficult to piece things together when they are literally thrown into a million places, most times, you just do not know where to start.

Just so I can hide the uneasiness, I do the best that I can to count my blessings and forget the painful memories and thoughts that incessantly disturbs my relatively normal thought processes of being thankful to God, having a happy family, contented with my work and overall, grateful for the kind of life that I now live. It does not even cause me to squirm for the effort that I manage to give to keep all of these priorities straight, but when this echoing of the ghosts that continuously haunt me in my sleep becomes persistent, there is nothing much that I can do but face them squarely, bravely and as strong as I can be.

Right now, there are so many emotions in me that are swirling that I barely can identify which is overpowering me, fear, anticipation and the overall feeling of doubt!

However, I do not and will not allow these feelings to put me down. I will fight them off as I have done so many times in the past with much prayer and taking everything one day at a time. No sense worrying like crazy for things that have not happened. God is good and He will be with me every step of the way.

I have a prayer in my head, always thankful of everything that comes my way. For the blessings and the gifts, for the trials and the challenges--these things all make me the person that I am.

I know that for as long as I have these moments where this overwhelming feeling of uncertainty is brewing within me, I also know that I have these moments to remind me that everything will be alright. God has given me these beautiful moments so that I may be able to overshadow the fear with His endless love and constantly reminds me that He is with me because I have these memories, these images of how He has blessed me and provided me with a place I can find comfort for my tired and weary heart. Just like today, I have them beside me, loving me for who I am and holding my hand as I feel weak and tired.

Tomorrow is another day, another chance to make a beautiful moment in the life that was so beautifully woven by God's hand for us to live.

Long while

It has been a long while... nothing but work.. it has its ups and downs, but i must admit, lately, it was more down than up. Too many unsatisfied people. Anyway, I guess, it is true, you cannot please everybody. But what seemed a dream is already my reality and thanks to those who i continue to trust, everyday at work is okay.

But heck, there is that little possibility of me giving up. I am human, I have all the right to change my mind, don't I? But anyway, enough of my angst. I always remind myself that there are still some things worth smiling about. If only, I could just laugh everything off, but I would not want to classify myself as a psychotic. I refuse to be limited by other's incapacity to understand what I believe in is right. We are all right in every sense, in my world, but there are standards that make it right or wrong. I wish there was an easier way to understand that without having others raise an eyebrow or at times two. Hahaha!

Life is what it is. Some things I learned.. Nothing is impossible! Never assume and best of all, live like it is your last. Enjoy every minute of it and capture the good times!

Oh well, just me babbling on and on.. Til next time.

Our newest baby.

What started out as a dream actually is now becoming a reality. ProTrans, Professional Transcription, for the time being is my baby with Don that we want to nurture and cherish. God gave us this wonderful opportunity and we would not want to waste it.

What is our dream?
We want to help those who have the enthusiasm to help themselves first, mostly people who like us once were underpaid and did not get what they deserve. It does not make us superheroes of some sort, just want to be able to share our love for our work and that zest for learning other things. Things that matter. Love for work, zest for living and hoping to make a difference.

It took me and Don to meet a few people, rotten ones to be able to get to where we are, and we may not have reached the top of the ladder yet, but we have taken that first step and we have gained our credibility that could match the pioneers of the industry. And what did it take us, dedication, hard work and honesty. Determined to make a living out of what we were blessed with, and this is it. Our dreams are taking shape. What started out as a dream is now a reality.

As additions to our family, we would like to welcome Matt, Jackie, Kiko, Suzette, Tanya and Jen.

To Terry, thanks for being a good student and being the friend who has always been there.

To Cheryl, thank you for your patience and loyalty. May Anna, thanks for believing in us.

Judith, Garlyn, Malou, Dahlia, Mavic, Charisse--welcome to the ProTrans family.

To Ashish, thank you for everything. Keep it coming.

To our parents, our children and our friends, and those who continue to believe in us, those who pray with us and to those who celebrate in our success, thank you.

And to God for always being there as our light. May we be able to help more people who want to be helped.

second chances, big dreams and getting there

why in the hell to infinity and beyond? i have got yanni's action figure of buzzlightyear on my cluttered desk along with kermit the frog and 6 froggy band players, and so--go figure!
well,i kind of decided to create a new blog account just so i could share the hows and the whys of nalot soriano-pascua at thirty. (OMG! 30?)
yup, where am i right now? Married to a wonderful man, my best friend for the last 4 years, and finally tied the knot early this year with three wonderful and intelligent children, cedric at 12 is in second year high school, camille at 10 is in 6th grade and gianni 9, 4th grade.

where i am.. just starting over and what a start it is? don and i own a company--Professional Transcription, our new baby for the time being, until we can afford to have another one.

thinking about it, it has been a long and treacherous journey getting here. countless offices where i worked, names and faces that were either nice or not so nice i decided to venture on to other areas where i thought i could be good at, and now this, something i absolutely love doing, some may even call it boring, but imagine being within the comforts of your home and being with your family while earning, beats going from place to place and getting along with bosses to earn measly minimum pay, and then they do not give you your much deserved 13th month pay. dang! i would rather be with my family and get two hours of sleep everyday, but have my kids to hug and tell stories to, and have the hubby cuddle with after a long, and when i say long, i mean, really long day's work. and i do not have to explain why i am beat like a dog to him because he knows exactly what i go through because he goes through the same thing.

i love being where i am now. i do not regret any of the decisions i have made and i have proven once again that i have not made the wrong choice. looking back, i once dreamed of going elsewhere to make my dreams come true and hoping that knight in shining armor would be there to sweep me off my feet, damn! i was swept alright, my dreams swept right off to the Pacific ocean only to find out that--hahah, now this is ironic 5 months after i got married, the prince did too--that is not sour graping everyone, that is just the classic well, she hurt me, i have to get back. well, let me say, all is well, and i wish you good luck too, and may you have the same blessings i have had too. too much for that, otherwise, i might just get a non-stop rant and playful jokes from don with this note.

well, let me tell you that i have married the man in my dreams. (yep! he claims i am obsessed with him.) but, truth of the matter is, he is not perfect. not even close, but i guess it is his imperfections that had endeared me to him and i can shout to the whole world that i love this man, warts and all.

Don shared his life with me as i did mine with him, and it had been a good start for both of us and we are still hoping to get that honeymoon we never had, but i guess what really matters is that, we both share the same big dreams and the route getting there, we are it taking together.

God does watch over us. He led us to where we should be, and we did not have to look far, nor go anywhere else to make those dreams come true.

so well, let this be the beginning of something greater as a bid farewell to my past and look forward to our future, my present is good, no not good, excellent! I have found where I am supposed to be and happy being here.
